you have secured a decent rank and with such merit rank you have higher chance of getting a seat in Osmania University, Hyderabad and JNTU, Hyderabad based on 2018 cut off trends.The seacured by candidate who have ranks below 1000.So after the filling of seats through GATE if there are vacancies you will get any of these universities.

The rank of 44 shall get you your desired post graduation course in civil engineering in either Osmania University or Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
