Congratulations on scoring a decent score in SRM entrance exam. Getting a seat on in a college is predicted on the basis of closing rank of previous years.I am listing below the closing rank for last year for CSE branch of different branches of SRM :-
SRM,Chennai CSE Closing Rank - 10000
SRM,Ramapuram CSE Closing Rank - 65000
SRM,Vadapalani CSE Closing Rank - 68000
SRM,NCR CSE Closing Rank - 54000
SRM,Sonipat CSE Closing Rank - 68000
As you have got 45000 rank your chances are slim for Chennai campus,but you have a decent chance of getting into other campuses.

Bro I are you sure about this because my rank is 45k and still I couldn't get a seat for cse in the first round!!
