Hello Rajesh,
I am afraid getting a seat in general category in Government Medical or Dental Colleges would hold low chances. To get a seat in govt. colleges under All India Quota without reservation, you would require a score around 600 and under State Quota, it may vary from 500, depending on the trend of the state and the performance of the students domiciled there. However, you will easily be able to grab a seat in Private Medical or Dental colleges in India.
Thanks, hope this helps.
Dear candidate,
460 marks would be really sufficient to get seat in govt medical college but as you said you don't have any reservation, chances of you to get admission in govt medical college is very less but you will surely get admission in private medical colleges.
All the best.
Hi,
460 is a good score but again for a general candidate a score of 550 and above is considered safe. Post result declaration check your ranking. If it is within the range of any govt college, you may get a seat. I will suggest you to keep studying and don't lose heart. You have worked hard for this and who knows you may score above 550 next time. Wait and keep calm.
Good luck!
