Vineela, I want to tell you how ranking goes. There are two Universities under which different colleges get affiliated.

When you consider rankings it will be like under OU and Under JNTU

So under OU. Vasavi and CBIT makes there place regularly next will be Mufakham Jha followed by mvsr

Under JNTU colleges keep changing their ranks regularly. Coming to now. CVR stands top under JNTU. Next falls ( Snist & VNR) followed by BVRIT and Gokaraju. However, women's college Narayanamma is expectional. Which falls in line with Snist and VNR.

Being an Alumni of Snist and Being from HR Professional. From my side you got the best course and best college.

However you missed out University seats which was preferably of more weightage. As suggested  don't go with VNR now. Try JNTU ,OU, CBIT and Vasavi. These are colleges which stand above CVR on current basis. Rest degrading self for CSE I don't feel it's a viable thing now. So suggest to opt for top 4 because you already got seat in top 5th. So JNTU and OU you can try streching with CSE and ECE including integrated. And CBIT Vasavi with CSE groups. I hope your rank should be from University and not from private colleges.

Hope I cleared your dilemma on rankings and the seat you are looking for

Hello,

Since you didn't get seat in the first round of counselling, if we go through the last year final phase round list you may have chances into getting admission into VNR for CSE. But i also suggest you to consider for other colleges and branches as well of your choice. For your reference i have provided you the link for final phase list of 2018 year.

Hi Candidate,

According to your rank it might not be possible for you to get a rank in VASAVI engineering college in CSE department as the closing rank is nearly 2k. But there is a possibility for you to get a seat in VNR vignan Jyothi as the closing rank for CSE department is nearly 4500 which is close to your rank. Thus you can get an admission in VNR Vignan Jyoti. All the best
