I got 464 Gate score in Gate 2020 and 7.86ogpa from electrical. Is there any chance to get mtech from top IITs or NITs even. Also I am ready for MS also. But priority to Mtech. I belong to general category

Based on previous years cut offs, you might have a chance at:

NIT Trichy: M.Tech in Energy Engineering

MNIT Jaipur: M.Tech in Materials Science and Engineering

You have not mentioned the category, the cut off depends on category we need to know the category to which you belong to.For now assuming that you belong to general category it is difficult to get seat in any IIT or NIT.You must have 600+ GATE score considering 2019 cut off trends.If you belong to any other category kindly let us know.
