Hello aspirant
With a score of 480, you have very dim chances of getting a government college. Even in low fee structured private colleges, a candidate needs at least 590+ marks for the general category. So you only have chances of getting deemed medical colleges or private colleges in UP, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana whose annual tuition fee is around 12-15 lakhs.
Based on previous year's cut off, you can get a seat in the following private colleges-
Subharti Medical College, Meerut
Muzzafarnagar Medical College
Rohilkhand Medical College
Mayo Institute of Medical Sciences, Barabanki
Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences, Narketpally
Kindly note that the cut-off changes every year depending on various factors such as the category of the student, number of students attempting the paper, number of newly opened colleges etc.
You can also use the college predictor tool to know your chances of admission in a college/course-
Hope it helps!
At a score of 480, it'll be really difficult for you to fetch a seat in government medical colleges. Even in private medical colleges you have very low chances.
At this score, you can expect your rank to be around 1.16-1.18 lakhs as it was in NEET 2021.
However, you can predict your rank for NEET 2022 using our rank predictor with the link below.

Now, you need to mention what state you belong to so I can offer you a list of all the possible private colleges you can get a seat in.
Now the fee in the private medical colleges in the country under the deemed/paid seats quota is under a wide range and that is 8.5-20 lakhs/year. It varies based on the colleges and the candidate's marks too.
Here is a list of top private medical colleges in the country.
- CMC Vellore - Christian Medical College
- Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore
- KMC Manipal - Kasturba Medical College
- St Johns Medical College, Bangalore
- KMC Mangalore - Kasturba Medical College
- JSS Medical College, Mysore
- Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi
- DMCH Ludhiana - Dayanand Medical College and Hospital
- PSGIMSR Coimbatore - PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research
- MMU Ambala - Maharishi Markandeshwar University
- KIIT University - Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology
- MS Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore
- Dr DY Patil University, Navi Mumbai
Hope this helps
All the best:)
Hello,
You have got 480, which is not a bad marks but you can't get any government mbbs college with reasonable price, as you are also from general category it is difficult to get a seat in any government college but you can try Ayurvedic college if you are willing to do it. You can also try for semi govt. College , they reduce some percent of fees according to marks obtained in NEET.
All the best
