I got 489 in NEET 2019 with a UR category rank 30406. Do I have a chance to get a government medical college in West Bengal?

DHFW will release West Bengal state list for counselling for 85% seats under state quota. The cut off will be given as state rank or corresponding marks, which refers to the very last individual who was admitted in the institution. There were around 1800 seats in your state for last year, which may increase this yearowing to the increase in seats.

According to NEET 2018, the very last seat after second round of counselling for a government seat went to an individual with an AIR of 29949 with a score of 479. The said seat was for the college of Maldah Medical College, Maldah for the course of MBBS. Here is a list of various medical colleges in West Bengal and their respective cut offs for admission under the State quotas for the General category.But also keep in mind that the cut off changes each year due to several factors like level of difficulty, competition etc. This year as the paper was easy a little higher cut off is expected.
