You have not mentioned which category you belong to. With a score of 497 you have chances of procuring a seat in the government medical colleges when comparing the results of previous years. Last year, a minimum score of 380 was required to fetch one a seat in the Raichur medical college in general category under the state quota. So, if you belong to reserved category too, you can get a seat.
