As your have secured 50 percentile in jee mains then sorry you can not get any seat in nit from your sc category.
This year the cutoff set by nta in jee mains for sc category was around 50.11 percentile, and if you have secured just more than this then you are just barely qualified jee mains and if you got an exact 50 percentile then you have not qualified the jee mains. But in any case cannot get any any nits or iits.
Even if you belong from your home state quota then also got cannot get any nit or iiit or gftis,
Because for getting a seat in nits from sc category your rank must be under 5000, which means that you have to score at least 97 percentile from sc category, to get a nit.
But still you can try your luck at josaa counseling and csab counseling.
Or you can try for some other private institutions.
