i got 50 percentile in jee mains 2021 and i am obc pwd candidate can i qualify mains and can i write jee advance

It's quite difficult to predict JEE mains qualifying cutoff to be eligible for JEE advanced examination as it keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like :-

*number of students that appeared in the  jee main exam,

*kind of marks obtained by them ,

*toughness level of the jee main examination for different shift etc.


But yes,

When we go through previous year trend then yes you  hold a good chance to qualify JEE main in order to be eligible for JEE advanced

For reference,

JEE mains 2021 expected qualifying  CUT OFF percentile is given below for different categories on the basis of past year trends :

From above it is clear that, last year qualifying cut off for pwd category was 0.0618524  and predicted jee main 2021 cut off for general is 1-2 percentile . So with 50 percentile, you hold very good chance to qualify JEE main 2021 to be eligible for JEE advanced examination

Dear Student,

NTA has given the expected cut off marks(percentile) for JEE Main Examination as per category:

  • Common Rank List (CRL): 90-100
  • GEN-EWS: 70-75
  • Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL): 60-70
  • Scheduled Caste (SC): 45-50
  • Scheduled Tribe (ST): 35-40
  • PwD : 0.05- 0.07

So being from PwD class you will get the chances.
