I got 500 marks in neet 2019. Is there any chance of getting a government seat under state quota in up?
NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
If you are from unreserved category than these are some college you might get
- U.P. Rural Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Etawah
- Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya Medical Institute,
And if you are from reserved category than your chances is more rather than in general category.
I hope it will help you
Good luck
I assume you belong to general category.
As you mentioned with general category and 500 marks, your chances of getting a decent government college in your state through state quota(85%) are negligible except these two colleges-
- Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya Medical Institute, Lucknow-previous cutoff:469
- U.P. Rural Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Etawah-492
Youu might get some good private medical college in your state through state quota.
As the admission to medical colleges based on NEET is given unsed All India Quota(15%) and state quota(85%).
However cutoffs change every year depending upon level of toughness of exam. So hope for the best and follow the counselling process.
