Hello Sibani,

Yeah, it could be very painful, losing admission through NEET by just little marks difference. Its sad.

But what now, are you gonna sorrow for it throughout or will lead your performance by more hard work. I need to tell you that you must be proud, you above 500 marks in your attempt. Students around have not reached to that mark till yet, even after 2-3 attempts.

You must never lose hope. Its in Odisha, that the cut off is 533, you might try in other state colleges where cut off may be in your range. Even if its hard, but view it. Or you may apply to BDS and BHMS degree courses if you are interested. These two also have some good scope in the field.

But yeah, if you have that zeal still in your guts, then you may drop the year for next try to crack NEET 2020 by good score. It ia not the preferred thing to do, if you don't make your mind up.

You got difference of 30 marks. But there are students wjo just dropped out by 2-3 or even 1 marks behind the cut off. You may think how painful it coould be for them.

So, don't lose hope. Opportunities are yet to come.

Make your choices wisely.

Thank you!

Dear Sibani, it is quite misfortunate that you had to miss a seat in matter of few marks and by a very narrow margin. I truly understand the pain and I mean it when I say so. That does by no matter means that you havent worked hard. Your hard work has got you 507 marks. Sometimes factors beyond our control play spoilsport. But that shouldnt stop you from dreaming big. Odisha has only 950 MBBS seats and hence the higher cut offs. Life doesnt and shouldnt stop at pain abd failure. This isnt even your failure to start with. Once things settle down and you are ready to think, do analyse your next course of action. If MBBS is in your long term plan, this might help you:

Now there is no upper age limit for NEET and there is no.cap on no.of times you can attempt NEET as well which means stars are in your favour. You must have checked the Answer key and you must have analysed in which subject you must have scored lesser. So this year focus on that subject while not concentrating on other subjects as well. Make sure you practise as much as possible. Attempt atleast 1 sample paper every week so as to make sure you are able to manage time. And also read NCERT books without fail
