see you can surely go for computer science engineering course, however iits and nits need 75% marks in 12th course, also top university like jadavpur university kolkata requires 60% aggregate marks in pcm for btech admission, so at your percentage you may get admission in government colleges where marks criteria is 50%, one more thing you will not eligible to appear in campus placement for tcs, wipro, accenture , infosys like companies who are the major hiring mnc for cse and IT engineers, because they required 60% marks in 12th course, however if you have really good skill you can definitely apply startups companies, now you should be a hard worker, sincere in your studies.

It depends on your interest.You 12th percentage will not determine which branch you have to take in engineering.If you want make your career in computer science engineering then go for it, if not know what you want to do and take a decision.If you take up CSE you will study programming languages like C language, JAVA, DOTNET, Phyton etc along with other theoretical subject.As a computer science engineer you need to have good programming skills, communication skills, critical thinking, analytical thinking etc.You must be good at Mathematics.So if you have such qualities take CSE.
