To get admission in a colleges based on JEE Main score you need to score the qualifying cut off percentile specified by NTA. Every year the qualifying cut off percentile changes depending on various factors like number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and number of seats available etc. In 2020 the qualifying cut off percentile for general category candidates was 90.3765335. The qualifying cut off percentile for JEE Main 2021 for general category candidate is expected to be in between 90-95. Candidates scoring the qualifying cut off percentile or above that is specified by NTA are eligible to get admission. So with 51 percentile you may not qualify in JEE Main you need to score minimum 90-95 percentile to qualify.
