Accordig to previous year cutoffs and trends it is impossible to get into any NIT or IIIT with your 51,000 rank still you can try your luck in CSAB special counselling.
You can not get into NIT OR IIIT because the minimum closing rank for lower NITs in around 45,000 to 48,000 and your rank is not in that range as well as it is same in the case of IIIT.
Except having HOME STATE quota of Karnataka you can not get into NIT SURATHKAL AND IIIT DHARWAD because their cutoffs are so high.Hence you better try for any state government college or top private colleges.
