As per the rank you provided it is quite difficult to get any of the seat in Vellore Institute Of Technology. Given below are the closing ranks of different branches of VIT :

B.Tech Branch	Cutoff Rank
CSE	8,000
CSE with specialization in Bioinformatics	12,000
CSE with other specialisations	16,000
IT	9,000
ECE	16,000

As per the above data you have to under 20,000 rank to get seat in Vellore Institute Of Technology.

So prepare well for the next time or you can try to other colleges.
