In B Tech course the admission shall be made on the basis of the latest JEE score and the merit of the qualifying examination at 10+2 level. The merit
shall be reduced to the base of 100 with 60% weightage to JEE score and 40%
weightage to merit obtained in the qualifying examination at 10+2 level or any other
equivalent examination recognized thereto by J&K State Board of School Education.
In case two or more candidates secure the same merit in the Entrance Test, weightage
will be given to the merit obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination.
If you are from a reserved category and you have decent score in class 12 then you may have chances of getting admission in University Of Kashmir otherwise it is difficult for General Category.
