Hello Student

I can understand that this year despite of scoring such a high score you get such a  rank but this shows that how much the competetion is rising and also the cutoff is going to rise so much high .

Yes there are chances that you may get a seat via this quota in the karnataka state .

I think you must wait for the second round and have a aim for the Bangalore medical Collage or MS Ramaiah Medical College as they are one of the Most prestigious Institutes.

You can check the cutoff of the NEET 2020 :-

You can also use our collage predictor to understand your standing in the competetion:-

Hi

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks/rank for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then it suggests that with 546 marks being from obc you hold  a very good chance to get a seat in a Government Medical College

For example,
in neet 2019, 426 marks for obc category was the cut off marks to get a seat in Government Medical College under karnataka State quota and it was for Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences, MADIKERI

You also have chances in following Government Medical College under Karnataka State quota:-

*Bidar Institute of Medical Sciences, Bidar

*Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences, Mandya

And a few more

to get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

It gives you a personalized report with top college in which you have chances for admission , with the help of predicted colleges you can make better choice while filling your choices of colleges during your counselling

Thankyou

Hi there,

Your marks are quite good for obc category, but still your chances are quite low to get a good government college for mbbs degree.

You may get some low ranked college though, you can check that using our college predictor tool
