Assuming you are from General Category, with a score of 545 in NEET 2020, I believe you had good chances in securing a seat in MBBS at one of the Top State Medical Institutes if not Government Medical Colleges. You even had excellent chances in securing a seat at one of the Top Private Medical Colleges in Karnataka like KMC Manipal or ones under COMEDK Medical Counselling like KIMS or Ramaiah or Bangalore Institute of Medical Sciences. The above medical colleges have good infrastructure, faculty and hospital facilities and provide effective medical education.
Hope you have participated in the respective Counselling Procedure and got your seat. If not, there are still many Spot/Vacancy Rounds going on at many State or Government Medical Colleges. Do keep an eye on the respective website for more details.
However I would suggest you to consider a drop and with only few months before NEET 2021, in May or June, you could effectively prepare with the same dedication and secure a Top Medical Institutes like AIIMS, KGMU or JIPMER in next fall. Most of the students I have come across, who have secured in 500-550 Range in first try have gone on to secure really high scores in their next ranging between around 650.
This ebook serves as a valuable study guide for NEET exams, specifically designed to assist students in light of recent changes and the removal of certain topics from the NEET exam.
