The cutoffs for NITs and IIITs usually close around 85-90 percentile for lower-demand branches.
With your percentile around 60-65, getting a seat in NITs or IIITs is unlikely through JoSAA.
If you're targeting colleges in Andhra Pradesh or Telangana, EAMCET (AP EAMCET / TS EAMCET) is a great option. Here's what you can consider:
