I got 55 percent in 12 and doing my engineering from CSE in 3 yr with av 9.0 grades in each semester so will my board mark hit my placement

Hi! Yes, you might not be eligible for Top Tech. companies since they keep a minimum cut-off criteria of 60-70% through out your academics.
However, you can talk to HR head of those companies once they visit your campus and discuss your case. In that case, there might be a probability that some.might allow you to sit for written test conducted by those companies.
But you will be definitely eligible for lot many good start-ups because they care about your skills not your marks.

No, mostly. But, a few companies set up a cutoff for sitting for placements somewhere around 65%.
You probably will be able to sit for a good number of companies. Prepare for interviews well and prepare an answer for why you have such a low score during 12th. Most of the hr will ask you that question, so you should be able to convince them.

In the campus placement there will be fight for top IT companies because they require above 60 percentage overall but with your excellent grade in engineering will help you to find B grade companies and then after some time with experience you can apply for top it giant for jobs.
