As per your question, as you scored 55 percentile in your JEE Mains exam, your rank will range between 3 lakh to 10 lakh and you might not probably get any IIT or NITs. Hence, it is advisable for you to attempt the second phase of JEE Mains. But if you wish to join in any of the private universities, you can go ahead for the same.
