Sreenivasa, please please mention your home state. There are chances in your home state because the cutoffs for home state candidates in electively lower as compared for outside state candidates. So if you are fortunate enough to might as well land in the NIT of your choice but I am sorry to say that you have no chance for admission in top NIT and IIT because the seats will at 10,000 max even for the home state candidates.so I would recommend you to look for the branch of interest now because if you are aiming to get CS mechanical or ECE it would be very difficult to take admission in NITs. So choose wisely.

According to the rank you have mentioned in the question it is quite difficult to get any of the NIT until and unless you deserves Home State quota but tha is also for lower NITs as per previous year's cut-offs. However you can try for some IIITs like IIIT Una, IIIT Bhubaneswar and so on.
Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.
