The student must qualify 12th exam in physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology and english. The eligibility criteria for JIPMER is students need to have minimum of 50% ( 40% for SC/ST/OBC and 45 per cent for general OPH candidates) aggregate score in physics , Chemistry and biology or biotechnology that is PCB.

This year, an EWS (Economically Weaker Section) category has also been added. In order to be eligible for JIPMER 2019, the qualifying percentile for Unreserved and EWS category has been decreased from 60% to 50%. While for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and Unreserved-PwD candidates, it is 40% and 45%, respectively.
So, you may be eligible as you got above 50%. For more details please visit the link below -
