Saini, this is the pilot year of AIIMS conducting its admissions through NEET score. So how things might unfold needs to be seen. Now for a General Category student, the minimum aggregate required for qualifying for NEET is 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 40% for OBC,SC,ST and 45% for PWD. Now AIIMS has different aggregates with English being included. For a General Category Candidate, the minimum aggregate required in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English is 60% and it is 50% for Reserved Categories. Now because NEET is the entrance exam, the core eligibility criteria will remain that of NEETs'. But for being considered to be shortliisted for AIIMS merit list, you might have to secure AIIMS aggregates.
