I GOT 58 MARKS IN GATE EEE 2019 AND I BELONG TO OBC CATEGORY.IS THERE ANY CHANCE FOR ME TO GET INTO ANY PSU?
GATE 2025: Syllabus | Sample Papers
Hello yaswanth,
I don't think U will get PSU this time bcz this year cutoffs for PSU may be bit more than previous years as paper was easy. I'm also OBC candidate and I got 68 marks still I'm doubting to get a call from PSU. So please don't believe all the nonsense what others are telling. Have faith in yourself and wait for gate result to come, mean while plan next course of action. If U get PSU this year well and good but don't have too many hopes on it U may be disappointed.
I wish U all good luck
Yes, there are chances of you to get a job in any of the PSUs on the basis of your GATE marks. If you look at the previous years' cutoffs for companies like NLC and BEML, then there are possibilities that you may get an interview call. Since GATE officially haven't released the result and cutoffs yet so I can only predict the possibilities. The chances are marginal but hope you may get what you are looking for.

Hi student,
We would be able to help you better if you tell us what was your branch for graduation. However, 58 is a score enough for some PSUs. You can get the following PSUs:
- AAI
- BEML( electrical and metallurgy)
- HAL
- BHEL( Metallurgy)
- NTPC( electrical, electronics and mining)
You can go through below link for more information:

Hope it helps.
Good luck.
