I think, your rank is around 5500, and not 58589, which is not possible. So, with a rank of around 5500, it will be difficult to get Civil in SoE, CUSAT. The cutoff for last year was 3662 for GEN seat and 4859 for OBC(MSM) seat. The cutoff for state merit seat is higher than this. So, even if you have a chance, it will be in All India Merit. You can give CE as the first choice, so that, incase, if seats are vacant, you can get. The last rank details are available in www.cusat.nic.in.
