i got 596 gate score in gate 2020, 54.42 marks and AIR 6127 in mechanical engineering on the basis of above information can I get any iit/not for mtech. also I belong to general category

see cut of score changes every year and depends on various factors like number of participants, questions difficulty level, stream of engineering you may opt for, seat matrix etc. however at this score you have less chances for iits, but you have decent chances for nits, iiest shivpur, jadavpur university, vit vellore, punjab engineering college- university of technology etc.
