Hi

You have not mentioned the category you belong to, so I am  assuming  you from general category

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then it suggests that with 596 marks   you hold  a good chance to get a seat in  GOVERNMENT MEDICAL COLLEGE

For example,
in neet 2019, 530 marks for general category got a seat GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE, MAHABUBNAGAR    under Telangana State quota

You also have chances in
*GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE, SURYAPET
*GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE, NALGONDA

And more

To get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

You haven't mentioned your Category. Nevertheless, this answer will be written in the perspective of General Category as they have higher cut offs. If you belong to any other Category, this answer also will be applicable for you. With a score of 596, you do have decent chances in:

  • ESI Medical College, Sanath Nagar
  • GMC, Mahbubnagar
  • GMC, Nalgonda
  • GMC, Suryapet
  • GMC, Nizamabad

Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Hey dear, cutoff changes every year, if you see the last year's cutoff which went very high that even students getting 500 were unable to get a govt. Mbbs seat. Since your score of 596 seems good enough for a state quota mbbs seat. So, you have very good chances for mbbs seat under state quota for sure. You can also use college predictor through this link:
