All the best!!!
Hello,
To write JEE Mains, students need not to worry about their 12th percentage but to get admission they have to get a minimum percentage. Earlier there was provision of minimum percentage to take JEE Mains, but now it has been revoked.
For general category candidates – students must have secured a minimum of 75% marks in their class 12th board exams (or they must rank among the top 20 percentile in their qualifying examination for getting admissions in IITs, NITs, IIITs and other CFTIs).
For reserved category candidates, a minimum of 65% marks is required for getting admissions in different undergraduate courses offered at IITs, NITs, IIITs and other CFTIs.
I hope you got the answer.
Hello Aspirants,
Yes you can appear for the JEE mains exams. If you have appeared for 12th class science stream examination, you can appear for JEE mains.
However, for JEE advanced and getting admission to NITs and IITs a minimum 75% is required or one needs to be in the top 20 percentile list issued by your board.
Hope this helps.
