you just need to be a graduate to apply for the job in bank or railways so you can do b.sc or b.a. accourding to your intrest

Yes definitely you are eligible for almost 90 percent of different bank and railways exam. If you want to increase your more chances I would like to suggest you to do B. Sc because you can also get chances in some technical based exam,and doing b. Sc will always be better as it opens lots of opportunities for future.

As you have mentioned that you have completed your 12th with 60% and with pcm stream ,so first I would like to tell you that you are eligible to give most of the competitive exams in govt field since they require min 60% in 12th examinations



As far as your further education is concerned,since you have completed your 12 th with science (pcm) so you should go for bsc because in BSC you will get to know about science more about physics ,chem,maths bad if you do  bsc with honours then you will know very much about the respective subject ,it will be interesting for you to peruse bsc as you are already from science background so you must go with Bsc



As far as government jobs are concerned ,well you are still eligible for jobs after completing your 12 th in field like up police ,army since they require 12 th with minimum 60% so you can also think about it



If you want to apply for government jobs after your graduation then complete your bsc first then apply for fields like SSC CGL,IBPS PO etc
