and after selection kindly not move different ways make a list what courses you have to do in first 3 years. planning will play an important role.
CS/IT is somehow in trend. number of jobs are there which require some sort of skill so if you wanna go it will be good. C C++ JAVA Android/IOS, PHP are some important course that you can join.
Mech/Civil these are general branch which is in trend since the starting they do require highly on hand skills, CAD and CATIA are major software
EC/EE/Ei amongst these EC is good you can have a diverse career can look after programming and hardware as well. EE and EI are more hardware based. courses Embedded, Pcb Designing.
Go for IIT or NIT if not then, and for that you need to get good score in JEE. You should take comedk exam for engineering in karnataka get a 4 digit rank and choose CS or IAS in the applicable engineering college. And if you score more than 70% in engineering you will easily find a job in bangalore or around. But be specific with the branch because studying something like mechanical and then working in IT is not justified to your four years of Engineering. In 4 digit rank you can manage all below colleges in CS (computer Science) or IAS (Information Science).
