Every year physiotherapists are recruited by various government establishments . For some the qualification required is a pass in Bachelors of Physiotherapy while others ask for Master degree in the same from a recognized Indian or Foreign University. 60% is very well a pass percentage hence yes you can apply for government vacancies. Also , some high profile physiotherapist opening may also demand 2 to 3 years of work experience and accordingly you pay scale will also be good. Now the selection criteria may include various tests on your theoretical knowledge,practical knowledge and domain specific aptitude(domain of the recruiting body). For example , the Sports Authority of India is hiring MPT candidates with work experience and the selection procedure includes :
Domain Expertise: 30 marks
Practical knowledge and knowledge of allied sports science disciplines: 20 marks
Aptitude for working in a sports organization: 15 marks
Principles of training, Programming of training design and its organisation: 15 marks
Soft skills: 10 marks
Pre-Rehabilitation& Injury Management: 10 marks
