There are many other Institutes which accept JEE Advanced Rank for Admission and Counselling Purposes, including IISERs, IISc Bangalore, IIST Trivandrum, IIPE Vizag, RGIPT Rae Bareli. Assuming youre a General Category Aspirant, Incase youre inclined towards Research, you have strong chances of securing a seat in IISERs with a Rank of 6048 in JEE Advanced, though chances may vary with Courses. Incase youre interested in Aerospace or Electronics or aspire joining ISRO, IIST is a good College.

However, with a Rank of 6048, you have strong prospects among IITs, both New and Old and you shouldnt miss the Opportunity. Definitely incase youre from certain Category, youll have better prospects during Counselling.
