If you had told state rank directly it would have easy to us for answer. If 608 is your state rank and you belong to BC category then there are very high chances that you will get madurai medical college. Last year  state cutoff rank for OBC for Madurai Medical College, Madurai- state rank 809 (529 marks) . So there are very high chances that you will grab a seat in this college through tamilnadu state quota counseling. If you don't get this you will get govt college very easily at this marks in your category in tamilnadu. You can check last year cut off for your category I tamilnadu from link below
