Hello buddy,  if you are from general category , SC/ST category than you are not eligible for any NIT/ IIT. But if you have good score in JEE Main than you can get good private college and some government College Also but not NIT/IIT. To get seat at NIT/ IIT your boards score should be greater than 75%(General Category)  and should be greater than 65%(for SC/ST).

Best of luck buddy.

Respected sir,

You can only expect to get a good college from JEE mains if you score JEE mains and JEE advanced exams.

Thank you.

Dear Ashish,

In order to take admission in NITs/IIITs and GFTIs you should have 75% marks in your board exam or you should be in top 20 percentile. For SC/ST it is 65% marks.

You can apply for DTU and NSIT. They consider JEE Main marks to provide admission and counselling is through JAC Delhi.

To be eligible you should have aggregate 60% marks in PCM. There is relaxation of marks for reserved category.

There are many top private colleges which consider JEE Main marks to provide admission if you want you can apply. You have to fill the application form seperately.

You should apply for other entrance exams as well like VITEEE, SRMJEE, Manipal, Amrita and COMEDK.

To take admission in state level government colleges you can appear for your state level entrance exam.

Good Luck!!

I'm not sure about that.

I have friends who've scored more than 170 but their board marks were not 75% or above... They didn't get through. Boards percentage is one major criteria for getting into NITs and IITs.
