Official authorities of NIT (National Institute of Technology) prepare the cut off list after the declaration of JEE Main Results. All NITs including NIT Silchar participate in JoSAA Counselling for the admission process.

Based on last year cutoff for mechanical engineering in nit silchar your chances are very less for getting mechanical engineering there. As the expected cutoff for this year is expected to be more or less the same as previous year.

Last year theclosing rank in the 7th round for  mechanical engineering with home state quota was near around 51k for general category students.

But in spot round you have chances that you can grab a seat there .
