Hi Ashika!

Since you belong to the General category, you should have a minimum of 74marks to qualify and you have scored 62 marks which means you have not qualified. But, you are having a good percentage in your board exams. So, I feel you should not drop out, instead you should apply for  private colleges or universities. If you are still interested in joining in NITs, I suggest you join B-tech for now and simultaneously prepare for mains and write thee exam next year.

Hope it helped you.

All the best!

Hey there!!

See it all depends on you whether you want to take a drop or join a private institute..

If you believe that next time you'd be able to score good and crack jee then only take a drop otherwise join a private college..

All the best :)

Dear Anshika from my opinion if you are economically good you can take a drop ...and you can prepare ,now a days there is no value of simply taking admission from any private college ...if u will try you can do really good next year ...if u don't want to take drop there u can take admission in also other courses like jeneralism ,hotel management ,or bba ,bca and other courses .....

I wish you GOOD LUCK
