Hello Preet! Yes of course you can get admissions into the engineering colleges/Universities across the country. There are plenty of engineering colleges in India and outside country. Not all colleges/Universities consider boards marks. In India top engineering colleges (iits, iiests,nits) consider JEE (Joint entrance exam) mains and advance result. Study hard and compete in JEE mains ans advance to get into top engineering colleges in India. If you not qualified in mains , advance, no worry threre are plenty of private engineering colleges where you can get admission.

After getting admission in engineering college, your semester results matter there even in your placement also..

Which stream is best mechanical, computer science or civil engineering?
If you want to do private job like in software companies then go for computer science
And if you want to do job in government sector then go for mechanical or civil.in government sector, there is more demand for mechanical and civil engineer
