Hi there,

Since you belong to general category then then with a cell rank of 63k you can't get into the top nits or iiits.

You might get some low ranked nits and if you have home state for those low ranked nits then it would be more helpful. But still the chances are quite low.

You can look for other college options like:-

  • Thapar
  • Pec
  • Lnmiit
  • Bit meshra
  • IIIT una

And  for other college like these using our college predictor tool :

Hello There ,

According to your rank and category , you can try for some iiit's like pune , bhagalpur , una , surat , kalyani etc which have a lower cutoff , otherwise you can try for your home state nit also , as the cutoff is generally lower , same is the case with north eastern nit's , the cutoff is generally lesser . Some good colleges like bit mesra and pec chandigarh also participate in josaa , so you can get a decent branch like production  , in them .

Do apply for home state counselling also as you can get some good state government engineering colleges in your state .  Hence do apply for the csab round and state government counselling and you might get a good college .

Hope it Helps .

Hello aspirant,

Congratulations fr getting such a pretty rank in jee mains 2020. According to the last some years cut offs with this rank there are very very less or probably n any possibilities of getting admission into any good NIT or IIIT. If you are comfortable with some north eastern NITs then you can go with that there should be some chances of admission because the cut offs for that institutions are lower than the others.

You should go through the below link in which the cut offs for the various NITs, IIITs and GFITs are provided which will help you in clearing your doubts regarding cut offs and admission chances in that institutions.
