Dear Akashdeep,

I would like to get your attention toward jee main cutoff as you sit for the exam then i am assuming that you had probably aware about the cutoff of jeemains for various categories .As you had mentioned that you belonged to reserved category so , as published by NTA the Schedule caste cutoff is 55 percent approx but  that is qualifying cutoff still Jossa will later on publish admission cutoff at the time of counselling so for get clear knowledge of your chances for counselling are still not known.

But still it is little difficult for you to get admission into any good NIT and that too in Maharashtra but still there is a chance for you to score better in JEE Advanced . so prepare for it in the left time .

And if you had already appeared for jee advanced and don't see any hope there then don't worry there are many good private engineering colleges that you can sit for like BITSAT , VITEEE, Manipal Entrance Exam and these exams are much more simpler than JEE Mains.

However for detailed knowledge of various institutes and their previous year cutoffs you can go to this link please   #https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/top-engineering-colleges-accepting-jee-main-score

In maharashtra if you had appeared for MHCET and if you score well in that exam then might you stand chance for counselling in MHCET starting on 1st week of JUNE.

Still you can try for JOSSA if you want counselling is free , so you can take a chance and keep searching about colleges in maharashtra and their cutoffs.

While searching for colleges always keep on mind to consider these points:

1. Infrastructure

2.Placements

3.Faculty

4.Fees structure

5.Location Availability

so don't demotivate be prepared for the good

Thankyou

This year JEE Mains 2019 cutoff for SC category was 54 percentile that means with 68 percentile you have cleared JEE Mains and you were also eligible for JEE Advance 2019 but the date of exam was 27 and registration started a month ago. But know you can apply for JoSAA counselling 2019 through which you can get NITs and IIITs.

Hello Akashdeep, with a percentile of 64 in JEE mains, I don't think you would be able to get any government colleges in Maharashtra even though you are from SC cast. Colleges in Maharashtra mostly admit through MHT CET, so there are a very few seats which are filled through JEE. So, the cutoffs are very low in such colleges. I suggest you apply for private colleges.
