Hello Saurav

The marks can't be predicted from your percentile score. However, you can estimate your rank from the below given formula:

(100 - your percentile) * (874469/100)

Here, 874469 is the total number of students who appeared for the January -JEE Mains exam.

Accordingly, your rank comes around 3 lakh. However, this is an estimated rank as it will vary depending upon the number of students appearing in the April exam.

Hope this helps.!

Good Luck.!

No dear.!
As last year JEE was conducted by CBSE (it had percentage system) and this time by NTA (it has percentile system) so there are/will be changes with the cutoff criterias. Hope you're getting my point.!

From this year, JEE Mains will be conducted twice in a year and so the number of students appearing will automatically increase- depending on which- there will be cutoff variations.

Hey Saurav this is your Percentile score through this score it will be not easy to predict score of jee mains. You can take rough idea about your rank using this formula:Probable Rank={100-percentile Score}×874469/100.This will gives you probable rank in general category. To get score and exact rank wait till April.Wait..

Wait till NTA declares raw score and rank of candidate.NTA will declares rank and score after 2nd phase of jee mains exam.

You can ask if you have any other queries.

GOOD LUCK!

Hello Saurav

We cannot predict the score using the percentile but you can calculate the rank for your percentile using the below formula.

JEE Main 2019 rank (probable) = (100- NTA percentile score ) X 874469 /100
