Hello aspirant,
According to your percentage it is some more difficult to get NITS or IITS. NITS or IITS need at least 75 percentage. But you can get other colleges if you get good rank in JEE Mains. so don't worry about that. If you want to improve your percentage you have a chance to write betterment in 1st year. only in the first year betterment exam will be conducted. s keep it in mind and prepare well.

Well the type of college one gets depends on the grades one scores in the entrance examination. The better the rank, the better the college.
If you are pursuing for NITs or IITs then be confident enough to get a rank among 1 to 2 thousand.
And as far as 12th percentage is concerned, don't worry much. As long as you don't have a back in any of the major subjects that are important for JEE point of view, there is no issue.
Make sure you score well in the entrance exams.
