Dear prayagraj

Truly speaking your marks are low in 10th and 12th so there will be some increased level of difficulty in it.

But this can simply be overcome by scoring greater percentile in CAT examination. there are many colleges that give less weigtage to academics so you have a good chance in them.

All the best.

U need to work hard on your grads to score well in CAT.

For Top Bschool, Cutoffs is not less than 90%.

Thanks,

Azim

If you're in first year of college I would not advice you to give Cat right now. Its better to read newspapers and be informed about the everyday happenings around you. The minimum requirements of Cat includes 50% atleast in Graduation. And once you get that go for Cat in last year around to make the most out of it.

And yes talking about chances you will have a better chance in Tier3 colleges to be honest since the past academics are pretty average. But if you work hard for CAT you will get through.

All the Best!!!

Hello Prayagraj,

Eligibility for CAT is minm 50% in Graduation.

So, you need to have that percentage minm in your graduation

Looking back to your academic, you need to get a good percentile in MBA Entrance Exams which will help you sail through.

Getting a Tier 1 is bit tough with such scores but not impossible, excel in CAT exam through a very good score 95+ percentile to get through in tier 1 b School across India.

Prepare yourself you have enough time and make sure to understand the questions amd practicing it,you have enough time before next CAT exam.

Hope it clears your doubts. All the best for your future endeavours.

Feel free to contact incase of any queries.

Thanks.

Hi,

Well the score of 69 is a little low fr you to het an easy passage in MBA. But for cat the minimum percentage is 50+ in 10th, 12th, graduation.

You should work hard on CAT preparation as all the factors are secondary, CAT score is primary.

All the best
