Hello Vinay. To secure a seat , you have to be qualified in the JEE Mains examination where the cutoff is dependent on your caste category. The cutoff for 2018 Jee Mains exam is:
2.OBC-NCL - 45
3.SC-29
4.ST-24
5.PwD- -35
On the above cases , you will be scoring a rank according to your category .
P.S: If you are from common category, you have not qualified the examination .
