Dear Harsh,
The question that you are asking is very dependent on which kind of institutions you are targeting.
For example, if you aim for AIEEE, it could be problematic because you either need to fall in top 20 percentile of all students in CBSE board qualifying class 12th or you must have more than 75% average of top 5 subjects (hence, if you have an extra minor bringing down your percentage, you can drop it and then calculate your percentage) in your board. Now, percentiles fluctuate every year, but in 2015 the median of 50 percentile was 71% marks in CBSE. Hence, if the same trend continues, and 2019 has similar cutoffs then you could be disqualified for mains.Apart from that the given cut off is for general. Cutoff for OBC is not mentioned clearly so you might be still eligible. Your Jee marks are well above the cutoff usually seen for OBC category hence you are safe on that front.
However there are several other state examinations where the rules are more relaxed. For example, if you appear for GujCET where weightage is given to board exams you are at a little disadvantage but you are not outright disqualified. Apart from that, different states have varying weightage given to the board examination, hence based on which state you are a domicile from your prospects vary hugely.
