I got 71 percentile in JEE MAINS paper 2, what would be my possible rank and will gt into NITC? I am going to appear for the next attempt also

I am really sorry to say that but with percentile getting admission in NIT Calicut is not possible . Last year the closing rank for NITC was 28,467 for bio technology . And according to your percentile your predicted rank is 296670-333500. So you should rather try to work hark for the upcoming mains and try to boost up your percentile

The overall expected rank with the given percentile is expected to be around 17000. You haven't mentioned your category. Assuming that you belong to general category you do not have chances of getting seat in NIT, Calicut because the previous year cut off for general category (other state) in round 6 of JoSAA counselling was 599. Considering the previous year cut off you need to score minimum 98-99 percentile in JEE Main upcoming session.

Cut off depends on factors such as total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. So it may increase or decrease this year based on above mentioned factors.
