Hello Deepak

Your estimated rank can be calculated with the following formula drafted by the NTA.

100 - your total percentile score is the percentage  of people ahead of you. 869010 are the number of candidates appeared for Jan exam. So rank formula is (100 - your total score) X 869010 /100. If the number of candidates for April exam increased to 1200000 then your final rank shall be (100 - your total score) X 1200000/100.

Its difficult to tell exact qualifying marks for jee advanced eligibility but if you are getting more than 85 percentile score then you have decent chances to qualify for jee advanced

If the number of candidates for April exam increased to 1200000 then your final rank shall be (100 - your total score) X 1200000/100

To calculate the rank for B.Arch:

100 - your total percentile score is the percentage of people ahead of you. 112679 are the number of candidates appeared for January exam.

So rank formula is (100 - your total score) X 112679 /100.

Hello!
The cutoff of last year for qualifying for jee advanced were as follows-
Common Rank List-89.7548849
Gen EWS-78.2174869
OBC NCL-74.3166557
SC-54.0128155
ST-44.3345172
PWD-0.11371730
Now since your percentile is around 71 and you belong to obc, you stand a small chance to small for jee advanced as far as rank is concerned Its difficult to predict actual rank or JEE advanced qualify marks. you may calculate your expected rank by this formula

Therefore your rank would be around 3,60,000 after April mains.
Hope this helps, feel free to ask in comments section
Thanks and regards

Hello,

It is not quite possible to calculate your rank with your percentile.  Because percentile actually states that how many students are far from you. As you are from obc category then you have the chances to have a good rank because there always special chances for special categories.

So you must now wait for the stare counselling .

To have more details about your rank you must check the following link

Hope for the best.

Thank you.

Hi dear,

You have scored 71.04 percentile in JEE main that means your rank should be around 251665. You can also calculate your rank as

Rank=(100- your percentile)×869010÷100

However your final rank will depend on number of student appear in April month exam. Your category rank will be around 65k-70k.

Hope it helps.
