I got 71.83 percentile in feb attempt and I am obc ncl student can i get nit
Hi,
According to previous year cutoffs, your chances of getting NIT or other government college is not that good because your percentile is very near to the cut off percentile for your category. In that case, it becomes slightly difficult to get the top ranked NITs. You should check out for top NITs like Jalandhar, Patna. For more information related to the cutoff you can follow the link below:

Keep in mind that the cutoff changes every years as it depends upon the number of seats available, the difficulty level of paper and number of candidates writing the examination hence varies every year depending on these factors. It also depends on home state and other state as you have not mentioned your home state.
Since you haven't mentioned your homes state, you can check out your rank on the basis of your score from the below link.

hello aspirant,
89.17 would fetch you a rank 288179-323955.now these are based on previous year analysis .As of now its tough to say because the analysis and also cutoffs change every year due to many factors like total students appearing for exam, difficulty level of paper etc.now based on your rank you and last year round 6 closing ranks will have tough to tough to no chances to fetch seat .you need a percentile of 96-98+ to fetch seat in good nits. work hard and improve your score in the upcoming jee main sessions.for more information refer to: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

thankyou.
