age limit -
For general category candidates should be minimum 17 years and maximum 25 years old as on August 1, 2021.
For only the SC/ST category, there is 5 year relaxation in the upper age limit.
MARKS REQUIRED -
Candidates should have scored minimum 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
At least 50% marks have to be secured in English.
Relaxation of marks will be given to SC/ST candidates, however, it will not be applicable for English.
Medical Fitness
For Marine Engineering, the candidates will have to issue a medical certificate from doctors who are approved by the Director General of Shipping.
For B.Tech (Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering) and B.Sc (Ship Building & Repair), the candidates will have to issue a physical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner.

The eligibility criteria to be eligible to for IMU CET is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English from a recognized board. Candidates belonging to general category must score minimum 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and minimum 50% aggregate marks in English. Relaxation of percentage of marks will be given to SC/ST candidates, but there is no relaxation of marks for English.
So if you have 50% marks in English and 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry then you are eligible for it provided you must fulfill the other eligibility criteria.
